Terms of service
Last updated 12 August 2026
The rules for using GoToCard, written to be read rather than skipped. If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact form and we will explain it.
These terms
By using GoToCard you agree to what is written here. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you are confirming that you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.
Your card and your account
You are responsible for what appears on your card and for keeping your login details to yourself.
Publish details you are entitled to publish. If you share a work phone number or a company logo, make sure you have permission to do so.
Acceptable use
There are a few things you cannot do with the service:
- Impersonate another person, company or public body.
- Publish unlawful, misleading or harassing content on a card.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Scrape, resell or attempt to break the service or its security.
Plans and payment
The Free plan is free and stays free. Pro and Business are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, and the prices shown on this site exclude any local sales tax.
You can cancel at any time. Your paid features stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your card falls back to the Free plan after that. We do not refund part months.
Availability
We work to keep GoToCard running and reachable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance happens, and so occasionally do faults.
Where we plan work that will take the service offline, we will give notice in advance whenever we reasonably can.
Your content stays yours
The details, links and images you put on your card remain yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them to anyone you share your card with, which is the entire point of the service.
If you delete your card, we remove that content from the live service.
Ending your use
You can stop using GoToCard whenever you like and delete your card from your account settings.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why when we do.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what you are paying or what you receive, we will tell you before it takes effect.
